2005/08 Alaska Trip - The Island and home - White Bear Lake |

Wednesday September 7th
In the morning we all went into Alexandria for breakfast and then we set off for home. Our friend had called around to find us a dump station, so we were able to empty the trailer. This would make it easier to winterize it before taking off on our next trip. It was a breezy and sunny run down to the Twin Cities and we arrived in the middle of the rush hour, something we hadn’t missed at all.

So, having absorbed all this, we transferred all of our traveling stuff from the trailer to the camper, and then added J’s belongings. We could still move around inside the camper, but clearly getting into bed was going to be a lengthy process! We hoped to be able to drop it all off at their house in Ontario by the following weekend, and then to set off exploring the other end of Canada. That trip will be described in the Labrador story.
