Sunday March 27th
Sunday was a nice bright day, so Sandie and I drove down to Niagara to see the falls in their winter dress.  Niagara had had a lot more snow, and we were trudging through it to get to some of the overlooks.

The river was covered in ice below the falls and under the bridge, so you can imagine how cold the spray was!  The major cascades were flowing as normal, but the cliffs and boulders between them werea mass of snow and icicles.  The boat and tunnel tours were not operating but there was still a decent-sized crowd of watchers from all over the world, some of them looking a bit uncomfortable with the temperature and the cold spray.

That evening we went out for dinner with Julie, Ron, and Junie at one of their favourite restaurants, a Greek place out on the road to Niagara.
