1992 TIMELINE

This is a test of a new kind of page for holding a brief explanation and one or more slide shows made with Wondershare software.

Forts Folle Avoine is a historical park in Wisconsin, on the Yellow River near Danbury, about 15 miles from our campsite in Voyager Village.  The park includes a re-creation of the trading post and Ojibway village that were located there 200 years ago. It is open on summer weekends, and is run by the volunteers of the Burnet County Historical Society. Once a year they hold a "rendezvous" with traders and trappers and demonstrations of the skills of the 1800s. A good day out.
